Firefighting coating for wood
COMPOSITION:
VARLES-BL is made of ingredients that, when exposed to fire, form a micro transparent layer of foam and pigments. An artificial dispersion polymer, softened with an inflammable softener, is used as the bonding agent.
PURPOSE OF USE:
VARLES-BL is intended for the protection of wood from burning. VARLES-BL successfully protects all types of wood not directly exposed to atmospheric influences or condensed moisture. Ideal for massive wood, particle board, plywood, insulation panels, etc. Appropriate for anti-fire protection of industrial buildings, theatres, schools, hospitals, warehouses, military buildings, cottages, wooden barracks, garages…

VARLES-BL is available in white.
HOW TO USE:
The wood surface that is to be protected must be dry and clean, without any trace of residue from prior treatments. Extremely smooth surfaces should be lightly sanded.
USAGE:
If applied with a brush, apply 700g of undiluted VARLES-BL/m2 (two coats of 350g each). If sprayed, dilute with up to 10% water and correspondingly increase the amount of material used (two coats of 385 g/m2 each). If spraying, use a spray gun with a compressor and pressure reservoir. The nozzle should measure 2,5 to 3,5 mm in diameter, pressure in the reservoir from 3 to 5 atm.
CHARACTERISTICS:
At high temperatures VARLES-BL forms a compact micro transparent foam which effectively protects wooden surfaces from igniting and burning. In addition to the foam, internal gasses are produced which impede the burning process. Inorganic acids that are formed then cause char, which acts as an anti-catalyst for burning.
PACKAGING:
VARLES-BL is available in 5 or 35k packages.
WORKPLACE SAFETY:
Since VARLES-BL does not contain toxic constituents precaution is not necessary. Use safety glasses when jetting.
RECCOMENDATION:
When finished be sure to clean all tools and sprayer thoroughly with water.
STORAGE:
VARLES-BL must not be exposed to temperatures below 5 degrees Do not let freeze. Since the use of VARLES-BL is beyond our control, we do not take responsibility for the consequences of inappropriate use.

12 months.
