STIPOL-AF
Coating for the protection of wood from cracking
COMPOSITION:
Dispersion coating made of artificial pitch and filling.
CHARACTERISTICS:
STIPIOL-AF creates a thin elastic film on the treated surface that adheres well, protects wood from the attack of fungi and insects, decreases wood decay, enables even drying, therefore reduces and prevents cracking of wood at the ends, is not flammable, and adheres well in wet areas. The drying time depends on weather conditions, and generally takes about 2 hours. STIPOL-AF does not become runny at high temperatures, and does not crack at low temperatures.
PURPOSE OF USE:
STIPOL-AF is intended for the protection of log ends and cut wood against decay during storage and while drying.
USAGE:
0.5 kg STIPOL-AF is sufficient for 1m2.
HOW TO USE:
Apply with a brush, roller, or sprayer on either a dry or wet surface.
WORKING TEMPERATURE:
The product is intended for use in temperatures over 5°C.
PACKAGING:
STIPOL-AF is available in either 7 or 35 kilogram packages.
WORKPLACE SAFETY:
STIPOL-AF does not contain harmful substances, therefore no particular safety measures need to be taken during use.
STORAGE:
STIPOL-AF must be kept in an area above 5oC.
Do not let STIPOL-AF freeze, or it will become ineffective.
EXPIRATION DATE:
12 months.
